A Modern Farewell is a 2020 documentary produced by Deep Cut Media, available on Hulu. The film accompanies the eleventh and final season of Modern Family, one of the most successful American sitcoms of the past two decades, which concluded in April 2020 after an eleven-year run on ABC.
The documentary captures the cast and creative team of Modern Family as they navigate the experience of bringing the show to an end — a behind-the-scenes portrait of closure, reflection, and the particular emotional weight that attaches to finishing a long-running ensemble production.
