Full-Service Production Support For Documentaries

Deep Cut supports documentary projects from inception through delivery, and we tailor our involvement to the needs of each individual project. We can run production starting from the first shoot, or we can come on to manage the post-production and finishing processes. Deep Cut also offers a full suite of post-production services, including editorial and asset management, archival licensing, sound design and mix, conform and color correct.

What We Help With

• Media management & ingest: Backup, organization, and tracking from the day your drives arrive.
• Post Production Setup: We create proxies, transcripts and online screeners for viewing and collaboration. We handle media hosting and getting editors on-boarded.
• Archival Research: We can handle archival research with major vendors, or work with your archival producer (or help supply one) to manage all your archival assets. We create and maintain the database to track every piece of archival material in your project, and we can oversee the licensing process as well.
• Post Supervision: In house or with a team of your choosing, we oversee every step from ingest through finishing.
• Finishing: Conform, color, sound and deliverables creation, in-house or coordinated with your team.
